Trained as a journalist, I value clarity, communication and authenticity. After subpar employee experiences and constantly being an advocate of transparency and empathy in the workplace, I realized there are many individuals who feel misaligned at work.
I wanted to move the needle forward to building a more purposeful future of work, empowering startups and small businesses.

Today, I'm marrying my marketing skills and people passion to build authentic employer brands. My mission is to empower leaders who care about the employee experience, helping them to actively share stories that resonate with future hires.

My story
I never knew what I was going to be professionally. I studied journalism because I valued knowing how to communicate, being current and keeping a breadth of knowledge.

From covering breaking news to launching product press releases, or building brands from scratch - my career has since become an iterative journey of trial and error in the world of storytelling.

After living in Hong Kong’s concrete jungle for over two decades (and a brief stint in Reims, France), I flew to the beautiful Vancouver in pursuit of “balance” and more importantly, greater challenges. I've been a part of 10+ organizations from startups to government - as a hiring manager too. After countless hours trying to find a workplace that honours my skills, work ethic and passions, I decided to change that conversation by creating Employer Brandsmiths...
