Authenticity and clarity allows accurate reflection and communication what your organization truly values - it is the way to build community and engagement.

Faye, why should I care about Employer Branding?
First of all, let's set the context:
You already have an employer brand.
As long as you have one employee, their perception around work
sculpts reputation, AKA how other people perceive your organization.
Short answer: Because it's the right thing to do. If you've ever been job searching, chances are you wanted to learn more about the employee experience (what you give and what you get out) of working at company X.
Especially at smaller companies like startups where you are an early-stage hire.
Now for the longer pitch of how it benefits your company:
Leaders - if you anticipate growth in your company, working on your EB will make your life a whole lot easier, in ways such as:
- Attracting the most fitting candidates to apply to your job openings > more productive workforce > positively affect your bottom line
- Aligning your current team to identified values and outlook > more productive > positively affect your bottom line
- Driving consumer choices as they care about how you treat your employees (especially during COVID) > more sales > positively affect your bottom line.
