“To explore somewhere else and bring over a set of better values that can impact Hong Kong’s workplace culture.”
This was literally my driving force to move over to Canada.
I was burnt out. Seeking something new. Wanted to see what a land that preaches individuality and open-mindedness can offer me.
Fast forward to two years in Canada, navigating the new market, building connections, and experiencing some misaligned workplaces as well.
I was scared that I didn’t have the relevant HR experience to tap into the world of Employer Branding. That, and experience in general, quantified in years.
I care about people. I advocated relentlessly to make my work (life) and others’ better.
Through my “lack of longevity” at companies, I've experienced being part of more workplaces and teams than the average 24-year-old. This is the background I needed, together with my marketing skillset. What fueled my passion to advocate for employees was my own experience. What makes me so fired up to work on employer brands with companies of different sizes, environments, and culture is the potential of bettering many, many lives.
The ultimate wake-up call took a global pandemic. How can I look for Employer Branding jobs when it's such a new-age concept that companise in general don't prioritize? Heck, people are getting laid off and jobs are getting more and more scarce.
Cue: My first attempt at entrepreneurship, and most of all, doing something I love, truly care about, and wouldn't mind doing for free.

I have a vision to build a world where employees can show up to be their authentic selves; where companies share real stories and walk the talk.
That means I do that by helping purposeful organizations go from being unnoticed and lacking character to a sought after community by curating their unique voice so they can attract aligned talent, increase productivity and serve their clients better.
Your people are everything. My dream is to work with people who know they are powerful. Leaders who know that as they expand, they increasingly impact multiple lives – their employees’ moods, time, satisfaction. Because that’s what we invest in our work!
